Wavlink WiFi Extender can help you to improve and boost the existing WiFi for a large area (max 500m), but it depends on your actual situation for obtaining WiFi signal of router, right location, and suitable mode: For outdoor use, pls select “Access Point” as the suitable mode; For indoor use, pls select “Repeater” as the suitable mode, then try to find a right place for Installation (get >70% WiFi signal of your router) and ensure no or fewer obstacle between this unit and your weak signal destination.

Pay Much Attention to AP Mode for Outdoor Use
Some customers have chosen a wrong mode “repeater” for outdoor use, which could cause it to stop working. So, first, pls select a correct “Access Point (AP)” mode for outdoor use. Then, pls use the PoE converter to connect your router and this AP.

1.This AP or repeater is suitable used for the same horizontal direction, not vertical direction (Only Mesh can work for vertical direction). And, its default IP can’t be changed by anybody;
2.This WN570HN2 is only single band for 2.4 ghz, if you need dual-band for 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz, pls buy our WN570HA1 or WN572HG3.

To enjoy a fluent and high speed continuously at networking, you are kindly required resetting the power cycle to clear data after one-week use, then get it back working again.

If relevant – It can’t power on, pls contact us for a replacement of the power adapter. If it can’t work or connect to your PC/router , first RESTORE all the factory settings and try again. Still not work? Then contact us to upload the latest firmware.
